Install Vindex on your Azure DevOps. A few minutes, admin required.
Vindex installs as an extension from the Visual Studio Marketplace. Once it’s connected, every work item in your chosen projects gets scored automatically on create and update: nothing else to run, no CSV to maintain.
Organization admin required
Marketplace extensions install at the organization level, and the one-time Connect step needs an admin's Microsoft Entra ID authorization. Not an admin? Send this page to yours; there's a button for that below.
A few minutes, start to finish
Install from the Marketplace, click Connect Vindex in the admin hub, choose which projects to score, and open any work item. Every organization gets 10 free stories a month, re-scoring included.
Nothing in your process changes
No custom fields, no process customization, nothing written to your work items. Scores live in the extension's own storage and appear in the Vindex panel on the work item form.
What the install looks like.
Install from the Visual Studio Marketplace
Signed in as an organization admin, install the Vindex extension on the organization where your team works.
Connect Vindex from the admin hub
Open the Vindex admin hub in Azure DevOps and click Connect Vindex. A one-time Microsoft Entra ID authorization lets Vindex deliver scores back into the extension.
Choose your scoring scope
Pick which projects Vindex should score. The extension wires up the Service Hooks for those projects automatically.
Open any work item
The Vindex panel appears on the work item form with the first score. Follow the setup guide for the full walkthrough.
The step-by-step walkthrough, scope options, and troubleshooting are in the Azure DevOps setup guide.
